conquering tag filtering

at 17.00 i started figuring out the tag filtering system for this blog's homepage divider navigation bar

i first tried adding some relevant info to a json file for my javascript code to read from

then, i did some research into how i could filter tags just based on their name (not including using the json file)

turns out i don't even need the json file, but i would like to incorporate one, maybe to help with the search bar functionality in the future.
