resuming compclub hub 2.0 after so long

today was quite a lazy day - i ended up searching up homepage designs and trying to design a draft on figma of what i wanted the updated version of compclub hub's homepage to look like. i took some inspiration from the following:

and this is what i came up as a draft:

i think i should stick to writing requirements and designing the database before even thinking of designing anything since i didn't even know what i wanted to put on the menu of the homepage
